This page is just something different from the rest of the blog. Because I am a bookworm I thought of this amazing idea. So every time I read a book which I either like or think it is very inspirational then I will write it in here. And the cool thing is that if you want, then you can leave a comment about a fantastic book you read or you can write me an e-mail (my e-mail address is on the CONTACT ME! page). So yeah, I hope you like this page. If you do, then click the Like button, just underneath this sort-of post.
- Girl Online – by Zoella
I felt like I was there in every single situation. A mixture of romance fiction and reality. An awesome book which I definitely recommend.Apparently there is going to be a Girl Online 2, so excited 🙂
- One – by Sarah Crossan
About the lives of Ischiopagus Tripus twins. I think a bit like siamese twins. Simply said the book is amazing. It teaches you about how you should appreciate what you have. And it teaches you that most people think it must be horrible to be sooo different, but actually different is good and normal is boring. Once you start reading you just can’t stop. Quite a lot of drama in it as well to keep the tension. Definitely worth to read!!!
- Girl Online on tour – by Zoella
I can hardly believe I am saying this but this book is probably better than the first one. The love and romance scenes in the first one were amazing to read but now come to think of it, it is a bit surreal whereas this one actually becomes more like reality and life-like situation are included. It goes through all the struggles of having a rock-god-tastic boyfriend and how it might end. Also very different ending from most other books. It does have a cliff-hanger but not particularly happy for the main characters.
- Kit’s Wilderness – by David Almond
Actually my mom recommended this book and I thought it would be boring but I read the blurb and gave it a try. And I must say my mom does have good taste in books and fashion. Anyway, I found this book very terrifying and catching at the same time. It is a bit scary and dark but it turns out pretty well at the end. It is also very realistic and eye-opening. Once you start you can’t stop I guarantee you that!!! Although if you are more into love&friends&family type of books, I am not sure you’ll enjoy it as much. But I definitely recommend to buy or borrow this book from the library to read it.
- The Secret Dreamworld of a Shopaholic – Sophie Kinsella
There seems to be a sort of a series of these books and I think this is the first one. As you can guess from the title it is all about a girl who just can’t stop shopping. Credit cards & Prada are her favorite things. This book goes through some of problems of wanting everything but not being able to afford it. The main character works for a magazine called SUCCESSFUL SAVINGS, a job telling other people how to manage their money, WHEN SHE CAN’T EVEN DO THAT HERSELF. So ironic right?? Well, it is absolutely hilarious and I think it is worth a read at least or maybe you can watch the movie instead.
- Breathe – Sarah Crossan
Another fantastic, breath-taking book by the fabulous Sarah Crossan. You can trust me when I say, the book is a real page-turner. It captures your attention all the time and for the rest of the day it’s all you can think about. Breathe is a dystopian book all about the future and about how a few rebels are trying to make the earth green again after the “switch”. A good mixture of some twisted romantic scenes, some dangerous risks and action is guaranteed. Definitely worth a read. I heard the second version of it has come out: RESIST.
More on books soon. 😉
